Two city councilors said Thursday they plan to run for state representative if Jerry Parisella moves on to become a judge, and a third councilor said he’s considering it….

Bowen, 43, was elected as a city councilor-at-large in 2021. She is executive director of The Resolution Center, the former North Shore Community Mediation Center.

The city will need someone to represent them “from day one” if Parisella is confirmed as a judge, Bowen said.

“I’m ready for that,” she said. “As an at-large councilor, I listen every day to what people across the whole city are looking for from our leaders, and I have the experience translating that into results.”
